It is sponsored by the Sri Siddhartha Education Society. The institution is located on the outskirts of Bangalore City, along the Bangalore-Pune Highway (NH-206), 38 km from Bangalore City.
The roots of SSINS&RC trace back to the vision of Late Sri H.M. Gangadharaiah, fondly remembered as “Shikshana Bheeshma.” Inspired by eminent leaders like Sri Acharya Vinoba Bhave, Mahatma Gandhi, Sri Basavanna, and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, he founded the Sri Siddhartha Education Society (SSES) in 1959.
