Vijaya College
Vidya Prachara Sangha registered under the "society registration act of 1860" under sub-clause of 1905 on 5th June 1946. Under this banner, Vijaya High School was started in 1946 by the Philanthropists Late .Sri Bette Gowda, Dr.C.S.Raja Rao and the then member of representative assembly and freedom fighter Sri M.Ere Gowda and 12 others. The Institution being one of the oldest Institution in Mandya district with 74 years of service, made a tremendous effort and progress in educating the Agrarian population of surrounding areas (Rural Mass). Well known personalities Sri k.KempeGowda EX-MLA, Sri K.R.Raja Gopal Ex-MLA, Sri D.HalageGowda EX-MLA, Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha President and Former MLA Sri K.S.Puttannaiah, Dr.Kempe Gowda (Canada), Dr.Chandhrashekar (USA), M.K.Kempegowda, Dr.BoreGowda Chikkamarali, B.RameGowda ANSI Sugar Technology expert , Sri UmaShankar I.A.S, M.S.MariswamyGowda K.A.S, Venugopal K.A.S, are some of the Great Personality of our esteemed organization. The Vidya Prachara Sangha established "Pre-University College" with Arts, science and commerce in the year 1968, "Vijaya First Grade College" with Arts & Commerce in the year 1983 and "Vijaya teacher’s Training College" in the year 2005.and strated "Vijaya-Lower and Higher Primary School in the year 2013
