Chinmaya Institute of Nursing
“Chinmaya Institute of Nursing” under the Karnataka Chinmaya Seva Trust functions under the overall control of Central Chinmaya Mission Trust and believes in the principle “Service to Mankind is Service to God”. The Institute firmly asserts belief in God, to the value of life, and that service to humanity as the greatest prayer. It believes that quality nursing care demands a high degree of dedication and spirit of service for the cause of patients. So the Chinmaya Institute of Nursing was started in the year 1986 and upgraded with B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) Programme in the academic year 2009-2010. The students are therefore trained to believe in these values, serve with devotion, gain confidence in self and attain a keen sense of responsibility to patients in particular and to society at large.
