IISC Bangalore application form for Undergraduate BS Programme

Indian Institute of Science ( IISC) Bangalore has made the announcement for admission in 4 years under graduate BS Programme.
Under the BS Programme, Six major disciplines are offered : Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Materials, Mathematics, Physics.
The admitted students need to take a minimum number of courses in engineering & humanities.The program is designed to develop a strong interdisciplinary experience to students.
The aspirants who have keen interest to learn the basic applied sciences must apply to this course.
Admission procedure:
Eligibility: Candidates who have passed 12th examination in 2011 & those who are expecting to pass 12th examination in 2012 are eligible to apply for the programme with subjects like Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as the main subjects.
They need to score minimum 60% in 12th examination.
Selection Process:
The selection will be made on the basis of merit in the following national entrance examinations:

KVPY- SA appeared in 2010 & selected for fellowship

KVPY-SB appeared in 2011

KVPY-SX appeared in 2011

IIT- JEE 2012 appearing with minimum 200 marks for Gen, 180 for OBC & 100 marks for SC/ST/PH category

AIEEE 2012 appearing and securing a minimum of 180 marks for Gen, 162 for OBC, 90 for SC/ST/PH category.
Reservation for SC / ST / PBC /PH /KM as per Govt. of India rules.
How to Apply:
Application forms are available online only with effect from 1st Feb. 2012.
The cost of the application form is Rs. 400 for Gen/ OBC/ KM candidates and Rs. 200 for SC/ST/PH candidates.After submitting the online application, a printed copy of the filled application form must be sent to the institute.
